Introducing DENY, a graff artist from Melbourne, Australia. He started painting in New Zealand in the early 80's, where he was heavily influenced by New Zealand gang graff and tags. When he began hanging out with lowbrow artists like Martin Emond, he moved away from the destructive elements he was previously aligned with. Four years ago, DENY moved to Melbourne and started moving away from streetwork completely. He began experimenting with computer programs, and says, "I'm really jazzed at the things you can come up with when you don't have to keep looking over your shoulder, and can take the time to just realize."
