Giant Stuff Bunny Appears In Italy’s Hills

Tuesday, December 19th, 2006

For those of you who watch the news, this giant stuffed wool bunny on the mountainside of Artesina, Italy, should be nothing new. But what the rated PG-13 news doesn’t tell viewers is that this bunny is dead. Well, no duh, he’s stuffed, but the main point is that its intestines, liver, spleen, and heart are decorating the mountainside for travellers to climb. Erected by Austrian art group, Gelitin, this rabbit isn’t going anywhere until 2025. The point of the “installation”? Their press release is rather convoluted, but it’s something along the lines of the desire to change the landscape. Who knows. It’s just cool.

ImprovEverywhere! Brings Hilarity Into Everyday Life

Saturday, December 16th, 2006

If you call yourself a prankster, chances are, you’ve got nothing on ImprovEverywhere. A collective of people who probably have too much time on their hands, this merry group goes around causing chaos in public places. From dressing up like Best Buy workers and Michael Jackson to having cellphone ringtone orchestras in bookstores, it seems these guys are definitely doing something right. Viva la revolucion!
