Vol.1 contained outtakes and remixes, Vol.2 were singer-songwriter covers and Vol.3 showcased some of their tourmates and friends. For Vol.4, Comadre has lined up a few bands to collaborate with, such as Dead to Me and Oregonians Broadway Calls, the latter of whom can be heard in this video clip singing a stripped down version of "King Jeremy," a song on 2009's A WOLF TICKET.

Everyone knows that stage dives are a more important part of a live hardcore show than the actual music itself. It could be the most fitting music video ever.

What originally began as an Alkaline Trio cover band for a summer has expanded into two EPs (last years' SUMMER OF THE AMBULARS and SUMMER FLING) has remained an ongoing project for the bands primary songwriters, Mike, Jen and Andy.
Anyway, this is a video of them playing a house show and doing a cover of FOLLOW YOU DOWN by the Gin Blossoms, which remains one of the 90s most overlooked jams.

They really haven't been around too long, so unless you belong to the 206 area code there is a good chance you haven't ever heard of them. Regardless of that fact, their song Eliza from their upcoming album
Letters is stupidly catchy, and the video - stupidly fun as well. Music appeals to everyone on some level, and the best music is the stuff we can relate too. Music videos, to a certain degree, are like that as well. Where some are just ambitious and imaginative story boards of what the music would visually be like, others are just a good house party, the kind we all used to go to and the kind we all wish we attended more of.

This is the brand new video for a brand new son "The Mama Papa". Apologies for the potential ad at the beginning, only Pitchfork has the goods at the moment...

"A challenging 90-minute epic based on Darwin’s On the Origin of Species, the opera merges found Amazonian sounds, electronic atmospherics and swirling vocals from Danish mezzo-soprano Kristina Wahlin and Swedish pop singer Jonathan Johansson."
Mute evidently has some secret partnership going on with Wired. And while that's still weird, it's awesome if it results in stuff like this.
