Blessthefall
His Last Walk (The Record Collection)
The artwork for Blessthefall's newest album,
His Last Walk, is centered around an ominous photo of a staircase that ascends into the sky -- presumably, to something beyond Earth (only presumed by the name of the album). Two versions of the album artwork exist -- one where you can see in this review, and one featured a naked man huddled at the bottom of the stairs. The one shown here is the re-release, and is the artwork that you're likely to find if you purchase the album. Compared to the previous version, the change is ncessary and welcome.
His Last Walk is chock full of typical metalcore by a young band full of members that are about 19 or 20. For fans of screamo bands, Blessthefall is a welcome change. They focus more on rhythmic guitarwork than many of their counterparts, and those who are well-acquainted with the genre will find that Blessthefall has their own style. Those who cannot stand the genre will need to look elsewhere, because all in all, the band doesn't have that much new to offer.
ALBUM ARTWORK & DESIGN BY: Unknown. Will update with details.

I stopped listening to these guys after Craig got kicked out. Bunch of sellouts now, Craig made that band.
Gotta agree with ben. They suck w/o Craig, imo. I wouldn't call them sellouts, though.. they just aren't blessthefall without him.
