The Details

Draw a Line. Draw a Border. (Parliament of Trees)

The artwork for The Details Draw a Distance. Draw a Border. is simplistic and matter-of-fact, and similarly, their music is pretty straight-forward too. No pretension here.

The album's opening track, "Always Always Always," begins with vocals and just a couple strings, only to launch into an instrumental assault. Playing a blend of music reminiscent of a mix between This Providence and Dashboard Confessional, this album is cleanly produced and fairly interesting to listen to. Sounds like there might even be some banjo.

Winnipeg should be glad to have them.
