Intuitive Navigation (May 28th, 2014): An Interdisciplinary Dance Night of Sight & Sound

While 2011’s installment was a psychedelic exploration of meditative states, 2014’s INTUITIVE NAVIGATION will by more outwards-focused, featuring four sets of performers that share a love for dance and body movement. Three musical acts will be paired intimately with visual artists to create stage sets and video projections, while dance performances will tie the transitions together in a dazzling and flowing manner.

Dub Thompson – No Time Music Video (Interview w/ Director Vinyl Williams)

Drawing obvious inspiration from timelessness and less obvious inspiration from Aleister Crowley’s Thoth tarot deck, director Vinyl Williams takes Dub Thompson’s “No Time” and turns it into a multi-level philosophical exercise. Williams explores the slippery nature of existence by using both HD and analog techniques, which ebb, flow, and spin within a mad cycle, in such a way where beginnings and ends are indiscernable from one another. Chad VanGaalen Artist Interview (2014): Sci-Fi Visions of Sight & Sound
