The three punk darlings of Osaka, Japan’s Watusi Zombie have enough energy between them to power California. They will renew your faith in kick-ass rock and roll. The audience at the Funhouse bounced in a joyful, sweaty heap until, by the end of the night, drummer Maguru dragged his kit down off the stage and played blissed-out in a sweaty, sonic mess with guitarists Anri and Jugem right in the middle of the small Funhouse floor. I love this band!
