John Godolphin Bennett, (8 June 1897 – 13 December 1974) was a British mathematician, scientist, technologist, industrial research director, and author. He is perhaps best known for his many books on psychology and spirituality, and particularly the teachings of G.I. Gurdjieff. Bennett integrated scientific research with studies of Asiatic languages and religions. He foresaw the growth in chaos theory, dynamic/evolving values systems, and optimal psychology, and laid the groundwork for later studies of contemporary spirituality.
